I love the the passion you see in his face.
I changed the color of the lighting from
red to yellow-ish orange in order to
soften his features. I love the effect it had
and I love the shallow depth of field.

My favorite part about this image is the blurring
because it gives the drummer a sense of motion.
I also think the colorful lighting adds to the mood
of the picture.

It's so hard to get a good shot of drummers, and have
decent lighting, especially at a small venue like the
House of Bricks. I got lucky and fans went on stage
during the set, so I joined them and got this shot!
